- About me...
- I work for a religious non-profit where I have a portfolio of 73 congregations (FL, NC, SC, TN, MS, AR) where I serve as a consultant and trainer for lay leadership and clergy and staff.
Went back to school in 2006 and earned a Masters in Dispute Resolution from Southern Methodist University in Dallas in August 2008. A certified mediator, I specialized in organizational change, conflict management and executive coaching. I have served on the Executive Board of the SMU ADR Alumni Association and have recently been named to the Board of Directors of the Southwest Conflict Resolution Network in North Texas.
Outside of my formal work, I have served as a trainer to and consultant for residential youth programs, families, faith based organizations and secular schools pertaining to creating peace in "homes." I wrote and tested a pilot program called "Got a Problem With That? ... Navigating through Life's Obstacles" which was recognized by the Texas Psychological Association annual convention in November 2007.
My husband, Randy, and I reside in Dallas, Texas and have two children, one completing his MBA and the other just earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy and works at a hospital in FL. .
I am a person who continues to love the outdoors and strives to maintain a youthful outlook on life.
